Requirements

  • YouTube channel connected to a Google account with permission to view Analytics
  • Brand created inside InsightfulPipe
  • Recent activity (YouTube only reports on published videos)

Connect Steps

  1. Navigate to Connectors → YouTube → Connect Account.
  2. Approve the Google OAuth permissions for your channel.
  3. Select the channel, assign it to a brand, and confirm.

Troubleshooting

  • Channel missing: verify the Google login you used is an owner/manager of the channel in YouTube Studio.
  • Private videos: metrics still count, but if you ask for “public videos only” specify that in the prompt.
  • Needs Reauth: reconnect when you change Google passwords or revoke InsightfulPipe from your Google account permissions.
