Brand Properties
Everything you can store on a Brand record and how it is used across InsightfulPipe.
Required
- Name – created once. Keep it descriptive (“Client – Acme Retail” or “Product – App”). Contact an admin if you truly need to rename it later.
Helpful Context Fields
- Description – two or three sentences that explain what the brand sells or why it exists. Shows up in the brand list and in MCP responses so teammates instantly know the scope.
- Industry – pick the closest option so filters and dashboards can group similar brands.
- Website – pasted into MCP replies when your AI needs the live site for tone or links.
- Brand colors – optional hex codes that designers or AI copywriters can reference.
- Audience summary – short paragraph plus “primary/secondary” notes help AI tailor recommendations.
- Top competitors – list up to three names. These are surfaced inside prompts when you ask comparative questions.
- Ad voice + messaging cues – keep a quick “sounds like…” cheat sheet that writers or AI assistants can reuse.
Where the Data Appears
- Brand picker and search rely on the name and description.
- The Connectors page shows the industry tag so you can confirm you’re attaching accounts to the right brand.
- MCP answers echo description, tone, and audience snippets whenever it makes the reply clearer.
Editing Tips
- Open Brands → Edit to refresh fields as often as needed.
- When positioning changes, update the notes immediately so prompts stop referencing the old language.
- Treat these fields as the “brand brief” living inside InsightfulPipe—short, plain-language statements work best.
