All connectors follow the same high-level flow: connect the platform once, assign it to a brand, then expose it to your AI assistant through MCP.

  • Owned + Social: Facebook Pages, TikTok Pages, Instagram, YouTube.
  • Analytics + Utility: Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Business Profile, Google Sheets.

Each connector exposes its own MCP endpoint (see the individual page) and uses secure OAuth. InsightfulPipe stores tokens, not campaign data, so everything stays live.

Standard Setup Checklist

  1. Pick the brand – create or select the brand that should own the data.
  2. Open Connectors – click the platform card and choose Connect Account.
  3. Authorize through OAuth – sign in with admin/standard access and accept the read-only permissions.
  4. Confirm the account + brand – InsightfulPipe shows the account name and ID before saving.
  5. Add the MCP URL to your AI tool – copy the endpoint, paste it into Claude or ChatGPT, and authenticate once more.

Total time: about five minutes per platform.

Troubleshooting Snapshot

  • Needs Reauth badge? Click reconnect and redo the OAuth flow—usually caused by password changes or expired tokens.
  • Wrong brand? Disconnect and reconnect; that’s the simplest way to reassign.
  • AI can’t see the connector? Make sure the MCP server is toggled on in the chat and the brand has at least one active connector.
