1. Introduction

Insightful Pipe (“Insightful Pipe,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting the privacy of everyone who visits our website or uses our services (collectively, the “Services”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, with whom we share it, and the choices you have regarding your information. By accessing or using our Services, you agree to the collection, use, and sharing of your information as described in this Privacy Policy. Please read it carefully and revisit it periodically, as we may update it from time to time.

2. Controller

Insightful Pipe determines the purposes and means of processing your personal information. If you have any questions about our privacy practices, you may contact us as provided in the Contact Us section below.

3. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to all personal information collected through:

  • our public-facing website and customer web app,
  • any MCP connectors or integrations we operate to route data between our Services and external APIs,
  • any mobile or desktop applications we offer, and
  • any other online or offline services that link to this Privacy Policy.

It does not cover information collected by third-party websites, services, or applications, even if they link to or use our content.

4. Information We Collect

Personal Information: We collect personal information you provide directly, such as:

  • Name, email address, telephone number, billing address, and payment details
  • Login credentials you create to access the Services
  • Connector tokens, client secrets, API keys, and other authorization credentials you ask us to store so that we can maintain integrations with external platforms
  • Brands, competitor notes, prompt templates, and other context you upload while configuring your MCP connectors and projects
  • Inputs you provide in forms, surveys, support requests, and other communications with our team

Usage and Technical Data: When you visit or use our Services, we automatically collect:

  • IP address, browser and device type, operating system
  • Pages you view, links you click, time spent on pages
  • Referral URLs, search terms, and other standard web log data

Limited Marketing Data Processing: When you connect a source such as Facebook Ads or Google Analytics, we retrieve only the data required to fulfill the MCP-powered action you initiate (for example, generating a report, syncing a dataset, or passing context to an AI tool). Unless you explicitly enable persistent storage, imported metrics and creative assets are held in memory or a short-lived cache to complete that task and are then discarded.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

  • We use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to recognize your device, remember preferences, and analyze how you interact with our Services

5. How We Collect Information

  • Directly from you when you register, subscribe, contact us, or otherwise interact with the Services.
  • Automatically through cookies, server logs, analytics tools, and similar technologies.
  • From third parties such as payment processors, marketing platforms, or business partners when you use integrated features or opt in to third-party services.

6. AI Integrations and Data Handling

You can choose to route MCP data and prompts to external artificial intelligence providers (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google) through our connectors. When you trigger these features, we securely transmit the minimum data required for the provider to authenticate and generate a response.

Insightful Pipe does not build or train the underlying AI models, does not control the output the provider generates, and does not retain AI-generated content beyond delivering it back to you. You are responsible for reviewing and validating AI-generated content and ensuring that your use complies with applicable law and the provider’s terms.

If you revoke a connector or disable an AI integration, the associated credentials are promptly removed or de-identified from our active systems.

7. How We Use Your Information

We process your personal information for the following purposes:

  • To provide and maintain our Services, including account setup, billing, and customer support.
  • To connect and synchronize the external marketing and analytics accounts that you authorize, support the MCP workflows you configure, and broker authenticated API calls to third-party AI services.
  • To communicate with you about your account, updates, promotions, and policy changes.
  • To personalize and improve your experience, and to develop new features.
  • To analyze usage and performance of our Services, detect fraud, and ensure security.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our rights and agreements.
  • For other purposes to which you consent or that are disclosed to you at the time of collection.

We do not use connector credentials or customer marketing data for our own analytics or advertising beyond the limited functionality described above.

Insightful Pipe, LLC is a U.S.-based company and we process most personal information in the United States. When we provide Services to customers or end users in jurisdictions that require a specific legal basis for processing (such as the EEA or United Kingdom), we rely on the appropriate grounds permitted by those laws, including contractual necessity, consent for optional features, legitimate interests in operating and securing the Services, and compliance with applicable legal obligations.

If a local law grants you additional rights or imposes different requirements, we will honor those obligations when they apply to your use of the Services.

9. Sharing Your Information

Insightful Pipe does not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

  • Service Providers: vendors and contractors who perform services on our behalf (e.g., hosting infrastructure, analytics, payment processors, customer support tools, and AI platform partners) under confidentiality and data-processing agreements.
  • Affiliates and Subsidiaries: for internal business purposes consistent with this Privacy Policy.
  • Law Enforcement or Regulators: when required by law, court order, or similar legal process.
  • AI and Integration Partners: third-party artificial intelligence providers and marketing platforms, but only when you enable a connector or submit a request that requires us to transmit your data to them.
  • Business Transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, provided the recipient adheres to privacy commitments.

We encrypt authorization credentials at rest, limit employee access through least-privilege controls, and remove stored tokens when you revoke a connector or close your account.

10. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use the following categories of cookies:

  • Strictly Necessary Cookies: required for core functionality (e.g., login sessions).
  • Performance/Analytics Cookies: to understand site usage and improve performance (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Functional Cookies: to remember preferences (e.g., language settings).
  • Advertising/Tracking Cookies: to deliver relevant ads and measure campaign effectiveness.

Most browsers let you manage cookies, but turning off the necessary ones may disrupt authentication, connector sessions, and MCP workflows. By creating an account or continuing to use the Services, you consent to our use of these required cookies.

11. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access and receive a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information in your account.
  • Request deletion of your profile, stored connector credentials, MCP configuration data, or marketing data.

You can exercise these rights by emailing us at the address below. We may request additional information to verify your identity before processing your request, and we aim to respond within 30 days.

12. Data Security

We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

13. Data Retention

We retain your personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Authorization tokens, MCP configuration data, and connector metadata are retained until you delete the connector, close your account, or request removal. Backup copies may persist for a limited period consistent with our disaster-recovery policies and are purged on a rolling schedule.

14. International Transfers

Your information may be processed or stored in countries outside your own, including the United States. In such cases, we ensure appropriate safeguards (e.g., standard contractual clauses) to protect your data in compliance with applicable law.

15. Children's Privacy

Our Services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected data from a child, please contact us to have it deleted.

16. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We will post the revised policy on this page with an updated “Last modified” date. Your continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
