Managing Brands

Keep your brand list tidy so everyone knows where to connect accounts and where to run prompts.

View and Sort

  • Open Brands from the sidebar to see every brand, its industry tag, and how many connectors are attached.
  • Use the search box to jump straight to a client or campaign.

Edit Details

  1. Click a brand row.
  2. Update description, industry, website, audience notes, tone guidance, or competitor bullets.
  3. Save. Changes appear instantly in the connector picker and inside MCP answers.

Delete a Brand

  1. From the brand list, choose the trash icon.
  2. Confirm. InsightfulPipe removes the brand and disconnects any attached connectors (they can be reconnected elsewhere later).
  3. Only delete after noting which connectors you will need to recreate.

Moving Connectors

  • There is no “move” button. Disconnect the connector, reconnect it, and choose the new brand during setup.
  • Do this during a low-traffic period so prompts aren’t interrupted.

Routine Checklist

  • Monthly: archive brands you no longer need, especially campaign-specific ones.
  • Quarterly: refresh descriptions and tone notes to match current messaging.
  • Whenever onboarding teammates: share the naming convention plus this doc so everyone follows the same playbook.
