Connect ChatGPT Plus or Team to InsightfulPipe so you can ask for live marketing data inside any conversation.

Requirements

  • ChatGPT Plus or Team plan (free tier doesn't support MCP connectors).
  • At least one active connector inside InsightfulPipe.

Setup Steps

  1. **Copy the MCP URL** from your InsightfulPipe MCPs Servers page (e.g., `https://google-ads.insightfulmcp.com/`).
  2. **Open [ChatGPT Advanced Settings](https://chatgpt.com/#settings/Connectors/Advanced)** and enable **Developer mode**.
  3. **Go to the [Connectors page](https://chatgpt.com/#settings/Connectors)** and click **Create**.
  4. **Paste the URL** and click **Create**.
  5. **Click Connect** to start authorization.
  6. **Click Authorize access** in the browser to complete the connection.
  7. **Start a new chat**, click **+ → More**, and turn on the connector.

You'll need to enable the connector each time you start a new chat.

Tips

  • Name servers clearly ("Google Ads – Brand A") so you can toggle the right one.
  • Re-authenticate if ChatGPT says the connector failed — usually happens after changing your InsightfulPipe password.
  • If a connector doesn't appear, double-check that it's active in InsightfulPipe and you copied the exact URL.

Unified MCP Server

Instead of adding individual connectors, you can add the unified endpoint that gives access to all your connected platforms at once:

https://main.insightfulmcp.com/

This is ideal if you work with many platforms and want a single connection.
