Who makes it, and is it affiliated with a data provider?

The Company Enrichment MCP server is InsightfulPipe's own tool, running AI research agents on InsightfulPipe's service. It is not affiliated with the companies it looks up.

Which AI assistants does it work with?

Any AI client that supports remote MCP servers. The setup guide on this page covers Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor, Gemini CLI and Codex. You can also run the same lookups from the terminal with the InsightfulPipe CLI.

Is there a Claude connector for company enrichment?

Yes. In Claude, add https://enrichment-crawlers.insightfulmcp.com/ as a custom connector and authorize your InsightfulPipe account. You can also add InsightfulPipe from the Claude Directory, which connects all of your linked accounts and tools at once.

Can I use the Company Enrichment MCP server with ChatGPT?

Yes. Add the server URL as a custom connector in ChatGPT Developer mode, or add InsightfulPipe from the ChatGPT app directory to connect all of your linked accounts and tools. Developer mode availability depends on your ChatGPT plan.

What company data can it find?

Company name, website and description; industry, headquarters and year founded; employee count, revenue and growth figures; funding rounds, investors and valuation; technologies, languages and frameworks; and executives and founders.

Does it return personal contact details?

No. It focuses on company information. The leadership action returns executives and founders, and there is no action for finding personal email addresses or phone numbers.

Can it make changes anywhere?

No. All six actions are read-only lookups.

Is it safe and who on my team can use it?

The server is read-only. Owners, admins and operators can use it by default, and restricted team members can use it only if they are granted access. Each lookup counts toward your workspace's monthly enrichment allowance.

Can I enrich many leads at once?

Each request looks up one email address. Your assistant can run lookups for a list of leads one after another and combine the results, and every lookup counts toward your monthly allowance.

How does authentication work?

There is no third-party account or API key. Your AI client signs in to the MCP server with your InsightfulPipe account and receives an InsightfulPipe access token, and lookups run on InsightfulPipe's service.

How accurate is the data, and what are the limitations?

Results come from AI research and can be incomplete or out of date, so verify important figures such as revenue and valuation. It works best with company email addresses; addresses at personal email providers such as Gmail do not identify a company. A lookup can take up to two minutes, and every lookup counts toward a monthly allowance that depends on your plan, even when little data is found.
