No. Intuit Mailchimp offers its own connector for creating campaigns in Claude and a separate MCP server for Mailchimp Transactional. InsightfulPipe is an independent, hosted server that connects to the Mailchimp Marketing API. InsightfulPipe is not affiliated with Intuit Mailchimp.

Is there a Claude connector for Mailchimp?

Yes. In Claude, add https://mailchimp.insightfulmcp.com/ as a custom connector and authorize your InsightfulPipe account. You can also add InsightfulPipe from the Claude Directory, which connects all of your linked accounts at once.

Can I use the Mailchimp MCP server with ChatGPT?

Yes. Add the server URL as a custom connector in ChatGPT Developer mode, or add InsightfulPipe from the ChatGPT app directory to connect all of your linked accounts. Developer mode availability depends on your ChatGPT plan.

Can it send campaigns and change audiences?

Yes, on accounts connected with Read & Write access. It can create, update, replicate, schedule, test and send campaigns, set campaign content, add and update members and their tags, batch subscribe or unsubscribe members, manage segments and merge fields, start and pause automation emails, and publish landing pages and surveys.

Can I connect multiple Mailchimp accounts?

Yes. Each connection is one Mailchimp account, so agencies and multi-brand teams can connect several. Each connected account counts as one connection on your plan.

How does authentication work?

You sign in with Mailchimp OAuth and approve access. InsightfulPipe detects your account's data center, stores the token encrypted, and applies the access level you chose. Your AI client signs in to the MCP server with your InsightfulPipe account, not your Mailchimp login.

What are the limitations?

It works with the Mailchimp Marketing API, not Mailchimp Transactional, so it does not send transactional email. Customer Journeys can be triggered but not built, and classic automations can be started and paused but not created. Mailchimp API rate limits apply, and the server retries when Mailchimp asks it to slow down.

Once connected, you can ask Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor about campaign results and audiences, or ask it to prepare campaigns, without clicking through Mailchimp.

The Intuit Mailchimp connector focuses on planning and creating campaigns, with tools for campaign plans, content, themes and images. The Mailchimp Transactional MCP server works with transactional email and uses a Transactional API key. InsightfulPipe covers the Marketing API more broadly, including campaign reports, audiences, members, segments, automations, templates, landing pages and e-commerce data, with Read-only connections and per-action controls.

You control the risk. Connect as Read-only, or choose exactly which actions are allowed on a Read & Write account. The 37 actions that delete, archive, remove or cancel, such as deleting a list or permanently deleting a member, stay off until an owner, admin or operator enables them. Sending, scheduling and resending campaigns are regular write actions, so turn them off where agents should not reach subscribers.
